I ran their little Network Connection Tool which identified "a problem" and then reported that the "problem" was "fixed" but it actually did not fix anything. I decided to go in, disable the WLAN on the Brother printer, enable the Ethernet port with the same static IP as the WLAN, and confirm printing and scanner work.Īfter I switched the interfaces in the Brother printer, the Control Center software could no longer see the printer. ![]() ![]() I would have preferred they let me know that scanning was an issue before they spent money having someone fix the Ethernet port, but not much I can do about that.
